Meet the Team
Hallie Stidham
Dennis, MA
Hallie is the student contact for and driving force behind our team. She is a Rising Senior majoring in Physics and Mathematics and is currently the Vice-President of High Point University's chapter of the Society of Physics Students. Hallie is interested in pursuing a graduate degree in Physics or Engineering. In her spare time, she plays flute in the High Point University Band and Pep Band.
Jake Brooks
Monkton, MD
Jake is the Vice-President of Innovative Design, Development, and Implementation. He is Rising Senior Physics major with a concentration in Biophysics. He is currently working towards his first major publication. Jake is a University Ambassador and enjoys volunteering with the Alpha Phi Omega service fraternity.
Matt Iczkowski
Murrells Inlet, SC
Matt is the head of our Public Outreach efforts. He's a Rising Junior majoring in Physics and Mathematics. Matt is interested in pursuing a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. He enjoys golf and is a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. Matt is also the Vice-President for the Society of Physics Students club on campus.
Michael Cantor
Broadway, VA
Michael is our Testing lead. He is a Rising Senior majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Physics, he is a member of the High Point University SGA Executive Council. Michael is also on HPU's ultimate frisbee team.
Simeon Simeonides
Winston-Salem, NC
Simeon is our Webmaster and Lead Instrument Engineer. He is a Rising Junior majoring in Physics and Music with a concentration in Instrumental Performance. He is interested in pursuing a graduate degree in Aerospace Engineering. He plays tuba in the High Point University Band, Pep Band, and Brass Ensemble.
